|
|||||
You've worked with and supported small business in Northeast Florida for years. You're an active member of SBRN. You refer your clients to the SBDC and fellow SBRN members. You're a business owner. Now you've got the opportunity 10 make a tax deductible investment in small business by becoming a Friend of the SBDC. The SBDC at UNF provides counseling, training, information, and through the SBRN, professional resources for potential and existing business owners. Its
31-year record of sustained economic impact appears in
the form of access to capital, business starts, job
creation and sales increases. The SBDC depends on
financial support from the U.S. Small Business Recent decreases in local government revenue and spending have and will continue to decrease the SBDC and SBRN budgets. If you’re dedicated to the SBDC, the SBRN and its programs, invest in economic development by making a tax deductible contribution to the Friends of the SBDC. And don’t forget your clients who’ve experienced first hand the benefits of the SBDC/SBRN. Offer them the opportunity to become a friend of the SBDC by making a tax deductible contribution. Visit the “Friends of SBRN” section on our website (SBRN.org) to view the different donation levels as well as the benefits that donors receive. In addition to viewing the further details, you can submit a donation on the website through various payment options. To assist those of you who’ve already given, but still want to help in some way, the SBRN Development Committee has partnered with the UNF Development Office for help with our annual giving campaign. The UNF Development Office specializes in obtaining donations from companies in the area for other branches of the university and will provide its assistance in the donating process. If you know of a potential donor, give his or her information to us and the fundraising professionals from the UNF Development Office will contact them. Thanks to all of you who have been active and supportive of our goals. We want you to continue growing Florida’s small business community; it’s because of you that we’ve helped so many small businesses on the First Coast, and now statewide, succeed. Pamela Korn is Senior Vice President at American Enterprise Bank of Florida and chairs the SBRN Development Committee. She can be reached at (904) 482-4972 or pkorn@aebfl.com
